Artwork process

I do all my painting digitally on an iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil using Procreate. I start with a reference image and then feel out what colors I think would be the most fun and magical.

I try to take inspiration from Toronto which led to to creating the Racoon, the Jay, and the Raptor.

This put me down a path to creating NFL team animals, with the team colors replacing that actual animal color, like the blue Lion after the Detroit Lions.
